Where do you work?
Breakaway serves clients throughout Newfoundland and Labrador.
Do I need QuickBooks Online?
QuickBooks Online is the preferred platform. If you are not using it yet, we can discuss whether it is the right fit during a consultation.
How often will my books be updated?
The regular process is monthly, with records reconciled and kept current as part of month-end bookkeeping.
What monthly reports will I receive?
You will receive a monthly profit and loss statement and balance sheet from QuickBooks, plus a straightforward walkthrough of what changed in the accounts and how to read the information.
Can you help if my bookkeeping is behind?
Yes. Catch-up and cleanup work can bring overdue or disorganized QuickBooks Online accounts up to date before moving into a monthly process.
Do you provide payroll?
No. Breakaway Bookkeeping currently focuses on bookkeeping and monthly financial reporting. Payroll is not included.
Do you prepare taxes?
No. Tax preparation, filing, planning, and advice are not offered by Breakaway Bookkeeping.
How is pricing determined?
The right monthly fee depends on the volume of transactions, the number of accounts, and the current condition of the books. After a free consultation, you will receive a straightforward monthly quote before any work begins—no hidden fees or surprise scope.
